A guy on my homebrew site shared this unique way of smoking indoors. First time I've seen it. I wonder if pellets would work? Check out his pics on both pages.

I've seen smoker boxes you can get for using in an oven, but that is an interesting method, not one I'm likely to try, but definitely interesting.
