I'm looking for a source for these 85oz round containers. (w/ lids)

Even a little bigger (in the 90oz range) would be fine.

I'm donating a pulled pork package for a charity golf outing - where my wife's school is the beneficiary of the funds raised. The winning foursome gets 2 buckets for each golfer of hickory smoked pulled pork (frozen) and a bottle or two of Starne's sauce. I did the same thing last year, and each member got 2 5lb vacuum sealed bags of pork. Those were a bit unwieldy - and hard to reheat.

I have one of these buckets, and I'd guess it will hold right around 4-4.25 pounds of pork. Or the yield from one average butt each.

I'm looking for a dozen of these w/ lids.

Any tips? PM me if you like.

Thanks!
Patrick.

I think last year you had the right idea just the bags maybe were to big. Pulled pork in the bag should not be any thicker as a brisket flat. Of course the width should fit in a average large pot so they can reheat in hot water. By reheating in the bag all the goodness you cooked in will still be there. the container store and freund container are some options for what your looking at.

I had them smashed pretty flat, but they were a bit of a pain. (and messy to fill)

These were gallon sized bags.

Thanks Deb! They have a couple different containers that should do the trick.
