Sometimes I just like to set the MAK on about 275 and let it go....go for the bumper to bumper doneness...Tonight was one of those nights....

Some Garlic Olive Oil and then a light dusting of Little Louies Seasoned Garlic Salt with Black Pepper and then a healthy dosage of BIg Poppa Double Secret.....

WHen it hit 138 I pulled it and rested

Thye great thing about all of these pellet cookers is that you can get as basic or complicated as you like and the results are fabulous.

That looks so good BP! I finally found some tri-tip at my butcher's. Hope it turns out half as good as yours!

I am so going to find some tri-tip even if I have to have the meat packer cut it for me custom.

That just looks so good.

Great looking Trips BP! Tri Tips are a great cut, I can't believe they are so unknown (outside of the left coast). Thanks to this forum (and Costco for selling them in the Midwest), Tri Tips have become a favorite at our house.
