Spark's Fun Ribs

last cook of the weekend. needed some fun ribs. all the ribs on the rib quest are controlled cooks. fun ribs are easy going and a little drinky, drinky is in order. found a new butcher in granite bay. look what i found.


onto #336. you know the temp.

after 3 hours or so

some good stuff. you know.

45 minutes later

some goodies. got some apple habanero sauce. i did say fun ribs didn't i.

back on for 30 minutes to set sauce.


i got one. my daughter took them over to her boyfriends house. its ok. at least the house is quiet again. nice.

So, how was the Mango Tequila Japaleno sauce? It sounds great.

I think all your ribs are fun, controlled cook or not.

Dang Spark. If that was just for fun I want to come to your house when you're serious about cooking ribs! Those looked great and that's about the longest rack of ribs I've ever seen.

the sauce was great rip. nice flavor. want to try it on fish. i thought the ribs were the same length as always. i don't know. i was real disappointed with the ribs. flavors wasn't what i thought would come through. i think the rub was all wrong for the sauces i used. will have to try it again with little louies.
