Some Cajun Party Taters

Here is a neat way to smoke a bunch of taters for a loarge crowd

Heat the smoker to 400

slice the taters and dust with your favorite seasoning...I used cajun....then drizzle a cube of melted butter and put in the smoker for at least an hour.....

looks real nice sterling. nice plate of food there. the meat is cooked to perfection as always. you do love your taters. i loved the little russian ones your made that one friday night. they were real good. :)

you cook with the one star and the two star all the time. do you fine much difference in grill sizes between the two?

Your taters look very similar to a recipe I found in an airline magazine in the 70's. They were called Hasselback Potatoes. About the only difference is the seasoning you used, and I add grated parmesan or romano cheese on top in the last 30 minutes or so. It has become a family favorite.

I can top these with a bunch of stuff I just had the itch for the cajun...

The one star is just great...I love the two star too I dont notice a huge difference in size...I use the shelf too when I need more room. That being said I am so looking foreward to the three star!
