What other equipment have you had to buy...

...since starting your smoking and/or pellet smoking adventure?

In addition to my new pellet grill, this whole smoking/pellet smoking ride lead me to buy several other pieces of equipment and/or gadgets since I started years ago.

Here's a short list:

- Injector
- Digital thermometers
- Bigger cutting board
- Hasty-Bake Grill extender (adds a second tier rack to grill)
- High-temp insulated food safe gloves
- Hasty-Bake grid lifter
- Frogmats
- Firewire Skewers
- Meat Grinder (hand crank style)
- Weston Sausage Stuffer
- Tubs for mixing sausage, brining hams, etc.

Next on my list is an electric grinder & better knife sharpener.

Oh yeah... the Mrs. is dropping strong hints that if I want to keep mixing/curing sausage, hams etc. then I need to get my own refrigerator!


What about y'all; what other toys have you had to get?

I cant list them....

Gloves, instant read thermometers, frog mats, more cutting boards and MILES of aluminum foil..

I'm on my 2nd FoodSaver..

A decent digital scale for measuring out cure (Pink Salt).


And a good fire extinguisher..

If I made a list and my wife got ahold of it my name would be mud. She would hold my feet to the fire for anything she wanted. LOL but I would give her anything she wanted.

I'm such a minimalist! My only addition has been a frog mat!

Added a 22 WSM
Added a Stoker to monitor the MAK and control the WSMs
Added a 22 kettle with cast iron grate
Plus all the charcoal periphenalia
