I am considering a pellet smoker for consistency and convienence. I like the idea of temperature accuracy and long cooks without having to tinker. I first became familiar with Traegers in my Home town of Portland where I own a WSM. I am out of town for 1-2 years and NEED a smoker. I would like to spend under $700. I could get into a Traeger for this, but as the moment of truth arrived, I have blinked. It seems they moved overseas and there are a lot of complaints about decline in quality. So it's back to learning whats out there. I'll just prowl a bit.
