New Pellet Smoker

Duke

New member
I just assembled my MAK-2 grill.

Any suggestion for a no fail smoke on 3 racks of pork ribs.

I am an experienced BBQ'er on a regular grill but not on this new MAK-2 machine.

Thanks,

The Duke

Welcome aboard Duke! You will love your new MAK, as for the perfect ribs do a search function here, there are tons of great rib cookers and you will find tons of advice. If you need more help post your questions in the lounge and someone will be all over it.

Welcome from a MAK 2 Star owner from North Carolina. As CarterQ said, you will love your MAK. You just don't know how much, yet.

WElcome to PelletSmoking Duke. Try 275 for 3 hours for baby backs or 3.5 hours for St Louis spares. I prefer to cook everything on my upper rack to get things as far from the heat source as possible and it also seems to soak up more smoke up there. Setting the setpoint at 255-260 will get you approx 275 on the upper rack.
