My try at Grilled Peaches

They sound and look so good that I just had to try something new to me. Texas peach season is on going and they are very sweet. Got a box of fresh ones and decided to treat four couples that were over for dinner to a new dessert. I made a sauce of melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, allspice, bourbon and peach schnapps to drizzle over the finished product. Very good, but next time I've got to peel the skins off.

Thanks for the recipe...now I need to find some of those fresh Tx peaches. Hopefully the grocery stores will ship some in.

Ok Poppa you can cut me some slack, I'm a little slow sometimes. I thought there was some trick to this dessert. The hardest part was having enough bourbon left for the sauce.

I did some with a spoon full of vanilla ice cream and a dab of Texas Pepper Jelly
