Rib Eye using the MAK Griddle

Looking for ways to use the new MAK griddle and came across BP's post for cooking a steak on the griddle. I did not experiment, just followed his direction (just pulled at 135°F instead of 130°F due to lack of attention):(.

First, coated with Annie's Roasted Garlic EVOO and BP's double secret steak rub.

Smoked at 260°F until IT of 110°F, then flipped. Continued to smoke at 260°F until IT reached 135°F, then to the warming box. Cranked up the MAK to 400°F. Once at temp, put the rib eye on the griddle for 2 min/side. Cooked some asparagus during this step:

Plated up with some home grown tomatoes, onions, and bell pepper:

This steak was excellent. More done than I prefer, but perfect for my daughter!:D

Looks great steaks on that MAK griddle come out awesome. One of the best MAK accessories IMO

Nice use of the griddle! That steak still looks juicy even though is cooked more than you like. I'd eat it in a heartbeat!
