5 lb roster chicken, Char Siu mix and a cup and a half of water. (and a few glugs of EVOO)

40 minute spin..

On to the MAK. 30 minutes of smoke, 45 minutes of 425°, then back down to 325° until 165 in the breast.

It was too late to do anything with it, so I bagged it up and tossed it in the fridge. We'll break it out later for dinner.

I did tear a wing off for a taster.. PDG.

Normally it is used on pork and ribs at your local Take Out Chinese place..

I had a chicken in the fridge and figured 'why not'.

Next time I might put some Cure #1 in the brine as well, and get pink chicken that tastes like ham.. ;)

Yep! They list 5 pounds as the max load.

You'll have to note the foil pan it is sitting in.. This was a garage sale special, so I don't trust it 100% just yet - at least not indoors. ;)

Real nice. I also love my reveo. I got one at gander mountain with free shipping and 30 bucks off. It ended up being around 134 bucks. I used it tonight for spatchcocked yard bird.
