New Mak and first cook question

Just received the one star last week. I had to delay my first cook until this weekend with hurricane Maria blowing through. So I got everything ready for my first cook (Prime Rib roast) and I set up the pellet boss. Everything straight forward and fairly easy to set up after watching the video. However, the meat probe is only reading "high"? Does this mean I have a bad probe or did I set something up wrong?

My cook continues in manual mode as I have to convince the wife the MAK was worth it.

I think you need to un plug the probe and tell me what it is saying as it cycle through the screen. Sounds like you have it set to high and ididnt push the select button and that is what its giving you

The meat probe has nothing to do with the grill temperature or manual mode? If the probe does indeed read High it could be that it is bad or that you have it in the grill at a temperature above 250 degrees.
