Played around with some beef ribs

I've never smoked beef ribs before and I couldnt pass these up when I saw them..6 bucks!

A lil CYM and some head country with a wine soaked oak and plain oak mix. I smoked these for two hours and run the temp up to 250. After an hour at 250 I foiled them with some butter and apple juice and put them back on for another 1.5 hours. After that the foil love went back onto the ribs and I sauced half with blues hog mixed with apple juice and left the other half dry.

They were good! I expected them to be more meaty though.

Looking good!!! I have cooked them several times. They do have a high shrinkage factor, but they are tasty.

just looked at those again and they are nice. did a real nice job on them. little dino bones. i can get whole beef racks like that at WinCo for $5 -$7. i like to buy 2 racks and cook them up. one for me and one for the dogs. they don't get the sauce. :)

Thanks guys!
I think they turned out well too. And coming from Sparky the rib guru that tells me I'm on the right track!
