Had the main gig at moms last night. Today I am cooking a 13 lb bird. I rubbed ir with olive oil and then Plowboys yardbird rub. Sitting on a bed of celery, onion, carrots, and chicken stock. Cooking at 275 with apple wood. It barely fit in my little Traeger.View attachment 968

I seriously want to thank you guys. Between BP's Thanksgiving guide and other stuff you all have posted I would not be afraid to make my smoked turkey the main event next year. Thank you!
