My name is Trooper and I am a pellet smoker.
My handle will be familiar to some.
I am a MAK owner and have been since mid May.
I have used Cookshack (Hickory/oak base), Bear Mountain (Washington Apple), Cookin' Pellets Perfect Blend and Cookin' Pellets 100% Hickory.
I am a KCBS CBJ/CTC.
I had the opportuntiy to attend the American Royal in October & meet with other
pellet cooking enthusiasts.
My MAK runs "cool". That is, it seems to take quite some time to get to high heat. It often seem to be running at a lower temp than the SETPOINT. I'll keep testing and evaluating it.
