Red Snapper

I made a trip to the beach not long ago and this little fish followed me home. lol



I stuffed him with fresh herbs and lemon slices..

added a dish of rice with chicken stock and scallions... and then some leeks.





I basted the fish with a seasoned butter mixture..




The eye didn't bother me...



but I tried to cover it with a lemon slice..



the cherry tomato looked worse...



I decided to go with the grilled leek pirate patch



The fish was tasty!!




I think I need to make another trip to the beach and bring back more.

Arrrrrh! That's some mighty fine looking fish there matey!

Your seafood is inspiring me. I have several lobster tails in the freezer that I may have to thaw out and throw on the MAK. A little seasoned butter, a lot of seasoned butter, and a beer.

The fish looks moist, flaky and oh so good! I love fish hot smoked on the grill.
