Friend gave me an assortment of Mansmith's spices for Christmas so we decided to try some of the grilling spice out on a tri tip

Started with a nice little tri tip-

Hit it with the grilling spice-

On the MAK running on Oak @275 until an IT of 140-

Sliced against the grain-

Served up with some roasted red potatoes and a salad-

Seasoning was good, has a strong herb profile and was a nice change up from my usual goto rubs for tri tip. Definitely want to try this out on some chicken and lamb.

I liked it, like I said it has nice herb profile and not too salty- marjoram, thyme, rosemary, savory, sage, oregano, basil, pepper, garlic, onion and salt are the ingredients. Did some pork chops on the Hasty Bake with it too and those came out great.

Nice! Great looking Tri Tip, the last few times I've looked for them here they were pretty scrawny.

Never heard of Mansmith's but that one sure sounds good.

It looks like it went really well with the tri-tip. I like it!
