One of my favorite uses on my MAK is making jerky. Everyone LOVES it, and it’s so easy to make. This weekend I’m making Wasabi teriyaki. Can’t wait to try it.
I’ve been using different meats. London Broil / Flank steak / round steak. This batch is thinly sliced sirloin tip. Any suggestions for my next batch? What type of meat or what’s you’re favorite recipe?

I've used Eye of Round and cut it into 3/4" cubes... Jerky nuggets. (got the idea from FLBentRider)

Wasabi teriyaki... WOW.

The smoked Beef jerky in the MAK cookbook is really good! Has the Chipotle rub in the brine, I used the main chamber for about 5hrs, the smoker box takes too long :)

One of our employees just brought in jerky soaked in MAK Honey Stinger sauce for 2 days then smoked, it was awesome too!

I buy Costco flank steak. The Beauty of jerky is that here might not be any wrong ways.....seriously. Any marinade works. If there is a sauce that you like you need to dilute it...whiskey is always good as an ingredient as is soy and any sort of pepper.
