super high probe temp

Can anybody tell me why my probe on my 2star is reading 491f, and I don't even have it inside the grill? Happened twice now. 2 separate cooks.

it is probably shot.....also there are software updates that are available to bring your probes and the controller up to date...contact your dealer....or mak

Yeah those old probes were prone to failure, shoot me an email and we will send you out a newer one

OK. Thanks. I will send you my email, and Felicia has my email from the other day. I really appreciate the support. I cooked on it for a second time tonight and gave a piece of chicken breast to a neighbor who is a food snob.... he said it was the best chicken that he has ever had from a grill.... I trust that he was not blowing smoke (pun intended) because I know him well enough to know that he was good me an honest opinion. I felt like I cooked it too long, but he was raving about the flavor and how moist it was. I told him that the grill and company are amazing!
