We have our local Sams Club cook off this weekend. Weather forecast keeps improving as we get closer to Friday. Several top teams from surrounding states are coming out for this one. As well as many local teams that don't compete out of state very much. We have been cooking a lot, our meats are getting more consistent. This will be our fourth competition and we are definitely more organized and a lot more comfortable in regards to BBQ competitions (hopefully no fires or blown fuses this time around). We added a WSM to our arsenal, and have been putting out some great BBQ off that little unit. We plan to do butts and chicken on the WSM, and brisket and ribs on the MAK 2 Star. We are going to be using BPS Money and Happy Ending this weekend, we will see if we can keep the streak going. Here's looking forward to a good cook.
