When I get a new cooker I always like to get an idea of where the heat is and isn't....A pack of refrigerated bisquits usually does the trick THen you get to eat them! guyilty pleasures because normally i wont admit i like this prepackaged stuff....http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z265/biffalo/pellet-smoking-images/P1000132.jpg

SO then I had to butter them up and put some of yesterdays comp pulled pork...ok then I had to have some desert...some more butter and some texas rib jelly strawberry jalapeno!

Summary the very back corner got hot but I believe this to be a very very consistent cooker maybe more so that its big brother.

Very even heating! Outstanding! Would be interested to see the same test without the frogmat to see if the frogmat helps with evening out temps or if the 1 Star is that good at dispersing heat?

I might have to make some on my 1 Star and compare results!

please do and just go staright on the grill Scooter on the Memphis Pro and The MAK 2 Star I used Frogmats so I kept the testing consistent

The One Star is more uniform than either of the other units
