Tri-Tip with Anasazi Beans and Spinach Salad.

Doing a reverse sear on the tri-tip. On to Smoke

Smoke to 100 and into the warm box. Crank the Mak and sear to 141.

Tri-Tip with some Money

Anasazi Beans seasoned with onions and Bacon. Served with chives and sirachhi sauce.

Spinach salad with fresh blue cheese, roasted tomato’s , almonds and pecans and homemade croutons.

Tell me about those beans....

I had never seen them before. Some friends brought me some from Colorado. They look like black eyed peans but are creamy and moist like a pinto. They swell to about 3 times their size and cook extreamly fast.I cooked 8 ounces and they went from dried in the bag to done in about an hour. I really liked them. Wish i could get them in Georgia.
