O.T. Look How Big this Cabbage is!

You guys saw the Festival Squash we got at an Amish farm market during our recent trip.

All the veggies were cheap at this market.

We also picked up this huge head of cabbage, the size of a basketball, for ONLY a $Buck! ???

That knife is 13" long!

We cooked some of it up for supper this evening. That's the second meal from it. I think some kind of cabbage soup will be in our near future, or maybe some homemade Kraut like Zep suggests.

LOL!!! Actually... you're right about the second part!

We saw it and the wife and I both just had to get it to take home and show the kids. Hey for only a buck...

But, we do like cabbage around our house!

Cabbage will keep almost forever (I guess about the half life of a twinky.. wait, longer than that - twinkys have already faded away). We keep a head of red cabbage and slice off a little at a time to garnish salads. It is amazing how long it will last!
