I like the leftover part almost as much as the real meal ;D
Decided to do a turkey pot pie today
Started by making a pie crust using the Cooks Illustrated Vodka pie crust recipe, added some granulated garlic, granulated toasted onion, cracked black pepper & chopped up some fresh thyme, sage & rosemary
filled it with leftover turkey, green beans , carrots, corn & gravy
ready for the Traeger
set the Traeger to high - actual baking temp probably averaged 350 or 375, baked for about 75 minutes
all my regular sized pie pans have pies in them so I had to make a monster 12" pie
the plated shot
by far the best crust and turkey pot pie I have ever made, I went back for seconds and now can't move. My son was very happy that he stayed home for dinner
