OK wanted to break in the AMAZING MAK cold smoking box. Dont let let price fool you this thing is made so well I was very surprised and usually nothing MAK does suprises me.
A work of art.....Once again MAK finds new uses for the cooker and as a bonus the old owners arent left out.

Here is some Strube Ranch Wagyu Top Round Jerky....trim it out

Slice it into small pieces and coat with Money Rub I used the new but not on the market Sweet Money

Put in tumbler with 1/3 cup of Rod Grays Eat BBQ and a splash of water
(Notice the proto bottle!)

20 minutes and rack up Pre heat the mak to 275 for a 110-115 smoker box running temp

after about 4 hours get ready to eat

Oh man!! I love jerky!!
I've made some in the MAK before and it was better than what I made in my electric smoker. I've since sold the electric one and that box is exactly what I need for making sticks!
I bet that jerky made with strube was outa sight!

Very nice BP! Glad your impressed, I thought it turned out fantastic as well. It's amazing how much smoke the smoker box holds in even when the grill is cycling the fire.
I am sending some more goodies for it to try out soon :)

Looks like MAK really out did themselves with the design and coming out with the cold smoker box, makes for a great add on! That jerky looks pretty darn tasty also!
