Grilling breakfast pizzas has only recently become a holiday tradition in our house- especially Thanksgiving and Christmas when the kids came home. Over the past couple of years we've perfected our version of the Ultimate Breakfast Pizza. Kids of all ages have enjoyed the making and eating of this creation on a lazy holiday morning. Think biscuits and gravy with all the sides!

If you are feeding more than 5 people- consider making two pizzas. Highly doubtful you’ll have leftovers! This is a recipe that GrillGrates works fabulously with. Maintaining a low grill temp is a must too. Blackened crust on the bottom must be avoided to give you a full 20 minutes to grill this magnificent creation:

Fixings: Makes 1 PILED HIGH or 2 Reasonably staked Pizzas

MamaMary’s Gourmet Pizza Crusts- Use the one with the lip around the edge
3 Hardboiled Eggs- chopped
3 Red potatoes pre-cooked and cut into chunks
6 Strips of Bacon crispy and crumbled
6 Spicy or Mild Sausage patties
Packet of ‘White Country Sausage Flavor Gravy’
A cup of Swiss cheese slices cut up or shredded

Preparation: Prep Time: 15-20 minutes. Make allowance to hard boil the eggs and pre-cook the ingredients. This is a great tailgating and traveling cook as well since everything can be pre-cooked, and its simple to make, grill and serve on the go.

Grill or pre-cook the bacon, sausage and hard boil the eggs
Make the gravy, use left over potatoes, or pre-cook or pre-grill as desired.
Make the Pizza on a Cutting Board:
Rub olive oil onto the bottom side (grill down side) of the pizza and place on the cutting board
Spread 1/2 of the Gravy over the pizza crust
Add 3/4 of the bacon, sausage and potatoes evenly around the pie. Sprinkle crumbled hard boiled eggs. (the yellow makes great color)
Dollop the remaining gravy over the toppings and add the rest of the eggs
Add Cheese to the top

This is a LOADED Pizza and needs 20 minutes to grill and get to know itself as the gravy infuses the toppings. Let stand for 2-3 minutes if you can bear the wait and listen to the breakfast joy. This is # 1 on my 20 year old son's list!
