Fried Lobster Tails

Had to work overtime on a Saturday so I felt I deserved a treat. Here we go.
Some 6oz Canadian tails

The dredge

The wash. Two egg Yolks and some water

Lets get going. Into the wash and then the dredge

Fry at 350 till just golden. About 3 minutes. Lets eat. Some honey mustard sauce and drawn butter for dipping.

I have never had fried lobster... Always either broiled, boiled or grilled.... But now after seeing this post, I will definitely have to try it fried . Great job!

Man those look good. Had tail cooked many ways, but never deep fried.

I need a napkin to catch the drool!!

On the news this week that our east coast lobster fishermen are not going out till the price comes up.
