I smoked this on the drum but it would have been great on the Memphis...

I had a busy weekend and wanted to have an easy supper ready at the end of the day. I browned my venison burger with onion, garlic and jalapenos. Added some hot chili powder, home canned tomatoes, and a shot of tequila for good luck. lol


into the drum with a kiss of mesquite...


made some fresh tortillas..



The venison chili, hot buttered tortilla and a cold beer...


It was tasty and really warmed me up.

Now that's just not right... How can an Ugly drum produce such Gorgeous chili? Oh yeah... its Cowgirl, that's how!

I bet that chili would make one awesome omelet!

That chili looked good! Nice job. Hadn't thought of cooking it on the MAK before. I am due to make about ten quarts each of my elk chili and my buffalo chili in about another week for our annual Christmas tree decorating party. I supply the chili and beer, you come decorate my tree(s). Always a good time. Even last year with eighteen inches of snow on the day of the party. Of about 100 invited, the real party goers showed up - 44 hearty souls.

I am not sure I have two pots/containers big enough to cook two potsw on the grill. I will look around.
