Way too late for the contest, but yesterday I was finally able to fire everything up. I kept it pretty simple for the first cook.
Chicken breasts brined in Mad Hunky Poultry Brine and hit with more than a little Yardbird Rub
On the 4 Star at 325 with an obscene amount of monitoring equipment (I had salmonella poisoning once, hopefully never again)
Corn went on halfway through the cook
Served up with some potatoes roasted with garlic olive oil and BP's Desert Gold
All in all, a decent first attempt.
