Tri-tip & Crab Surf-N-Turf

The wife spied Tri-tips at the super market and snatched up a couple. We slathered both with some brown mustard then applied some BPS Jallelujah to one. The other got a new rub still in testing phase by Savor Spices, dubbed "M3", and meant for stout cuts of meat.

Onto the MAK running at 250°.

Pulled at 132° to rest for a good 15 minutes.

Served with some steamed snow crab legs & a salad.

The Jallelujah is already one of my favorite seasonings, and the M3 is somewhat reminiscent of Jerk, but with a lot less heat. It's bold flavor works really well with beef. Very different, but both were delicious!

I am with you on the Jallelujah. I like to use it as my first layer on TT and follow up with BP Secret Stake rub. Good depth of flavor. Your TT really looks good, would love to have a couple of slices of that with my eggs the AM.
