I had bought a pellet grill. I have a stick burner so I have a little knowledge on smoking meat. My question is the p setting? I've read that pellet grills don't produce too much smoke. I also read that using the P settings will produce more smoke. Do I lower the price setting for more smoke? Any advice is appreciated.

lower the temp the more smoke. If you are looking to duplicate your stick burner it will never do that but it will lay some light beautiful smoke on your meat

On a Traeger the P settings control the duty cycle of the pellet auger once the target temperature has been reached. Just google Traeger and P settings and you should find more information.
