1st off thanks to Scooter for setting me straight and 2nd why do i need to be on facebook?
New Auger/Motor are in and doing well. I smokt 2 turkeys and the 38 people i had over flipt out for them!
Trying a brisk this w e ...but not b 4 i smoke some steaks tomoro for my girls!

i hv smokt 3 times....on my new MAK 2 star....first time it was some ugly lookin rib eyes that tasted great...next whole spare ribs done comp style...and finally a butterflied leg of lamb. I hv been fighting a bad auger/motor im not sure if its the weld on the shaft or tube or motor issues. I hv been told i will get a new motor n auger any day now and then ill be back smokin. The quality of flavor is amazing out of this unit! i hv the magnum smoke daddy attacht to the MAK to make continuous smoke during the cooking process. This created a nice 1/4 inch or more smoke ring on the leg and just brings a great smoke flavor to the meat and my clothes!
