Thread: Got my first pellet smoker this morning.

Got my first pellet smoker this morning.

Just wanted to say Hi and thanks for letting me in. Hope to learn a lot about my smoker I picked up this morning. I got very lucky and ended up with best. I was looking at yoder due to the cost but a seller backed out on me. Well living down here in Florida I was kind of glad he did because I started to worry about rust. Well two weeks later I get very lucky and find a 2nd gen 2 star general 10 miles from my house. Has the 3/4 upper shelf and cover. Was able to grab it for $1600. So now my new addiction can run on for years.

I'll try later. Already got a chuck roast on it for some pulled beef sammichs later. Guy was really good about taking care of it. He cleaned it after each use. I'll take some pictures later today.
