    Hi everyone.
I am not yet an owner of a pellet grill. I am very interested and excited to learn about them. Can I get some feed back from current owners?
If so, tell me if the grill is really worth the cost, and is it easy to use. How about the pellets: the auger dispenses the pellets, I know, but does it take a lot to grill?

Welcome from North Carolina. I bought a MAK 2 Star several years ago. It is worth the investment. My list of things to cook on my pellet grill is not getting any shorter. So many things you can do with a pellet grill. Check out BP's videos and read the posts on different foods cooked on various pellet grills. The best advice I got was from BP while I was in the research mode of trying to decide what I wanted to buy. Decide what kind of cooker you are and want to become. I never thought I would get hooked on cold smoking like I have. The 2 Star was perfect for me to start learning this new style of cooking. I have since expanded out to making my own sausages. I cold or hot smoke them. I can do either one on my grill. I am more limited in being abloe to cold smoke large quantities at one time. To date I have been breaking up my cold smokes to just what fits at one time. Not too long ago I had two full trays of cheese to smoke. This gave me the opportunity to smoke half the cheese with one pellet flavor and then smoke the other half with a different flavor pellet.

Good luck on your hunt. You have so many more options available to you today than when I was ready to buy mine.

Welcome to PelletSmoking! Do your research before taking the plunge! We can tell you that our cookers are great but you will need to determine what features you're looking for then find the cooker that has the most features you're looking for and cooks in the style you like to cook in.
