    I want pizza

For some reason I wanted Pizza real bad. And the cleanse is over with so I can eat what I want again. Wanted a pizza bad enough I was doing some reading and thinking I should build a wood fire pizza oven. Isn't going to happen now but found some recipes for dough. So lets try making dough.

Smoked a chicken for the wife's pizza. chicken, caramelized onion, and cheese

and I wanted a basic one.

It hit the spot. did the same thing for lunch the next day.

I like 'em both, but I have to tell ya, I am especially liking the simplicity of that second Florentine version a lot!

Pizza looks great! Just curious what you used for a dough recipe? I have one I'll share. Probably one of the best ones I've had but you have to plan ahead. Credit goes to Jim Lahey. I also make his no knead bread and it's amazing if you wanna give it a try.

    No-Knead Pizza Dough
    Adapted from Jim Lahey, Co.
    Makes four 12-inch pizza crusts

3 cups all-purpose or bread flour, more for dusting
teaspoon instant yeast (such as SAF brand)
    1 teaspoons salt
    1 cups water
    1. In a large bowl, mix the flour with the yeast and salt. Add the water and stir until blended (the dough will be very sticky). Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let rest for 12 to 24 hours in a warm spot, about 70.
    2. Place the dough on a lightly floured work surface and lightly sprinkle the top with flour. Fold the dough over on itself once or twice, cover loosely with plastic wrap and let rest for 15 minutes.
    3. Divide the dough into 4 pieces and shape each piece into a ball. Generously sprinkle a clean cotton towel with flour and cover the dough balls with it. Let the dough rise for 2 hours.
    4. Stretch or toss the dough into the desired shape, cover with toppings and bake on top of a very hot pizza stone.

Here's a link if you care to try and make the bread...

I wouldn't call mine a "cleanse", but I have been losing weight and it has been easy! I have done 3 things - dramatically limit the really bad stuff, cut my portion size dramatically (about 1/2 what I use to eat), eat often (like 6 times per day or so - just a snack here and there). I don't feel the least bit lacking and I have lost 20lbs and feel great!
