I have had my junior for just 3 weeks and twice the fan has burned out on high. First on burn-in (running on high for 40 minutes). Burn-in smoke turned black and smelled like burning wires. I swapped whole pettet box and burner with a floor model and Smoked/Med for 18 hours with no problems...
