Got my KCBS judges cert a few weeks ago, and am breaking it out in Owensboro. My first trip down judging lane. Pretty fired up about it, and Owensboro is a cool town. Any Pelletheads competing, judging, attending?
For 5th cook on the elite, decided to go with a T-bone to try out the direct flame flavorizer insert I just got from BP (it has holes in it so flame shoots out from burn pot onto grill grates). Sorry no pics, ate it too fast!

Did my first-ever smoking last night on my brand-new Memphis Elite. Went aggressive with boneless butt for first cook. Also ended up cooking it during a torrential thunderstorm. It kept its temp perfectly though. Nice!
