Thanksgiving potluck

Introduced the co workers to smoked pork shoulder today for our potluck. 24 pounds worth cooked low and slow for 14 hours. Tons of good food here today and the pulled pork was the first thing that was wiped out!:)


Now everbody is asking about smokers.......I think I started something.

Yeah, I got a lot of kudos today, really didn't expect it. More than one person said "best dish of the day". Couldn't have done it without the MAK. It cooked all night, 42 degrees outside, and didn't even use a full hopper of pellets with a set point of 230. Never having cooked in temps that low, I was really impressed.

The MAK is the one machine in my stable that continues to amaze me whenever I push it a little harder. Hell of a piece of work.

That's cool, you know who will be getting the call when people want some more pork for various functions!
