I am going to do a whole brisket this weekend, and had a couple questions:
#1. Do you leave it whole, or cut it in half before smoking?
#2. Do you trim the fat cap or leave it on?
I am attempting to smoke two butts on my new Traeger BBQ075, and I notice that not nearly as much smoke is coming out of the unit, as with my old Brinkman upright smoker. Is this normal. I had it on smoke for 10 minutes, and then lowered the temp to 300, as the recipe manual instructed. I...
Or will be as soon as I can figure out how to use my brand new Traeger pellet smoker..:). I just got it, and am wading through the owners manual. I'm sure that you will all be a wealth of infomation for me.
