It was a long season so I may milk the results. Big Poppa Smokers cooked 25 KCBS Contests; We finished 3rd overall, 17th chicken, 18th #Smithfield Ribs, 8th Pork and 7th #SRF Brisket. We cooked in 8 states and had 10 Grand Championships, 4 Reserve Grands. 15 category firsts. We earned 2 180's...
We are super happy to gotten Grand Champion at the 75 team Dana Point Championship. We had 11th chicken 5th Ribs 2nd Pork and fourth Brisket This was our 10th grand of the season and we got a 705.12..our seventh 700+ in 20 comps.
Ok the last two weeks we GC's in Grand Junction Colorado (got GC all three times we cooked it) and then this weekend travelled to Denison Iowa and nabbed another GC. We have 17 cooks; 9 Grand Championships, 3 Reserve Grands, 6 scores of 700+ 2 180's
