Several folks (well, at least one person!) asked me to post photos when I got the Traeger installed in our RV. Took the grill to the RV today to see if it would work as planned. It fit perfectly - and there is a 110 V. outlet on the inside wall to the left of the grill. Plenty of clearance...
Finished my first cook on the Traeger, right around sunset. The meat was a just under 2 pound pork loin, rubbed with salt, pepper and a few other "secret" ingredients. :) Started the loin fat-cap side down at 450 for about 15 min. using Applewood pellets, then flipped fat cap up for about 2.5...
I'm a total newbie to pellet cooking, but I know better than to ask a question like "what is the best rub? So, I'll just ask for some thoughts. I tend to like my food with a little more "heat." My wife is my polar opposite in this area.
So, guess what type of rubs I will be using. :)
