ABT's and rib candy

I got some stuff from BP today and had to try some out.


Just playing around with some jalapeños and cherry and habanero Texas rib candy. Two words..GOOD STUFF!
One half got a dusting of soileaus and the other got some smoke'n guns hot BBQ rub.

Yeah they rocked! That Texas rib candy is pack'n a little heat! Very nice flavor. I can't help myself thinking this would be good on a nice vanilla bean ice cream.

I like what you did adding the rib candy as a glaze like that. The sweet/salty/hot combo must have been killer good!

My son & I have a real passion for poppers. I think we need to get together and organize a popper fest!

I got some of the Mango Habanero that I have not opened yet. Think I will try it on some ribs this week.

Just wonder if it is going to be too hot for the wife...

my wife and daughter eat my ribs w/ pineapple, berry and mango pepper jelly. its not very hot at all. more sweet. the jelly is really good stuff.

I haven't tried the jelly yet..the rib candy would be too hot for those that don't eat "hot".
