Another Pellet Smoker from Salt Lake City

I have been lurking about the site for quite sometime and finally purchased a MAK 2 Star. After reading all the comments about the MAK it was a pretty easy decsion to make.

I started cooking low & slow about six years ago trying to find a really good way to cook a turkey for Thanksgiving, fortunatley I did. I enjoy cooking with charcoal & wood, just getting tired of losing sleep when I cook the large cuts of meat. Also enjoy experimenting so I'm looking forward to making pizza, bread, and other fun ideas.

Along the way I also became a KCBJ too.

Phred, Welcome to the forum!

Be sure to post some pics of your new MAK in action. Don't be afraid to post some pics of your older cooker too (we love pics around here).

Welcome and congrats on the MAK 2 Star, fine smoker for sure. I have not had mine but about 4 months but it sure has helped improve my cooks.

Phred, welcome to the forum and MAK family. You made the right choice with the 2 Star, now it's time to get it dirty. Pig Candy is always good JuJu. Good luck and good smoking.
