I'd like to grill up some artichokes and convert some disbelievers that they can be delicious. What are your favorite ways to prepare them? Do you have a recipe you wouldn't mind sharing?
Cut them in half and steam them in water for 30 minutes first. Remove the choke and season with a oil vinegar mix and tri tip style seasoning. Cook cut side up and then flip and go cut side down on some grill grates.
I have a dip that is great with Artichokes..... Mayo and some curry powder... I love to peel off the leaves, dip them and then insert in mouth, pull out as you use teeth to peel off the meaty part on the bottom....
