Beef Sirloin tip roast

I am cooking pork ribs today, but while I was shopping I picked up a 3 lb Beef Sirloin tip roast for tomorrow. I have never cooked one before on the smoker. My idea is to put on some basic beef rub, sear it on all sides, then just cook it at 225 until the IT hits about 130. Any suggestions on my rub or technique?
Thanks,
Larry
p.s. If it turns out good I will post my pics in the gallery.

Sorry I missed this... I did one yesterday for some Italian beef. Will post the results tonight in the contest thread. I took it to 130°, then in the fridge overnight. It's about to go on the slicer shortly..
