Which pellets (oak, hickory, apple,etc ) are used in the various cooks in the Big Poppa videos?

No dumb questions. All good questions. I am not picky so I cannot tell you what I used but my usual suspects are Oak first Apple and cherry.....I also sometimes just get a box that has the contents of broken bags. I never ever use mesquite. all others are fair game. Stick around and get comfortable!

BP, why don't you use mesquite? i usually use it with my brisket. I use hickory for most other cooks, unless I am feeling particulary competitive when I cook ribs, then I will use apple for sure.

I second the NOT using mesquite. Tried it a few times, just did not care for the flavor.
