Char Griller Pellet Smoker

Hi everyone,
I just purchased a Char Griller pellet smoker. For those of you who own one, can you please advise on the optimal p setting? In other words that setting allows for the right amount of smoke with the least amount of fluctuation in the temperature.

That would depend on the weather in our area. I live in central Kentucky and in this 90 degree heat p5 works best right now. During the winter months I ran mine at p2 as it was bitter cold and had a wool blanket on it. It is something you just have to play with to learn. I love mine and own two of them. The temp swing was +- 10 degrees at p5 and p2. I hope this helps you.
