Hi All,
New to the forum. This is my first post here.
We made some spare ribs on Saturday and boy were they delicious! Here are the ingredients we used...
Big Poppa Smokers Sweet Money Rub, Simply Marvelous Sweet Seduction Rub, Head Country Organic BBQ Sauce, and one 12oz Coca Cola.
Trimmed and ready for rub

Ribs seasoned!

We normally like the ribs to get to 140 degrees internal temp before wrapping in foil. These went up to 150.. After the first hour we used some coca cola to keep the top from drying out.

We put them meat side down and used Coca Cola to keep them moist in the foil.

After wrapping we tossed them back on for about another 1 1/2 hrs.

Sauce the ribs and toss back in for another 30 mins till they caramelize.

Final internal temp hit 195 degrees. By all means they don't pass competition standards but they were mighty good!
