We have been on the road for about a month in our little RV. All the way to Wilmington, NC to the beach and back via Bourbon country. All fine except that we had no smoker. We take a little 14 inch Weber along which is nice, but not the same. Anyway, got home (Colorado Springs), needed something quick for dinner and bought a Papa Murphy's pizza. We cooked it on the MAK1 and it was just great. Ribs are the next thing.

Hands pretty full with the 3 year old and baby... I am gearing up for that Hasty Bake though. Im hoping to have it by mid summer!! You will be the first to know!!

We are pretty crazy around here....something goin on every day or so it seems. End of the school year, dance classes, graduation stuff, volunteer (ASPCA) stuff, homework (state sponsored testing drives my kids up the wall), end of year activities, etc. May is always nuts for us.

Prepping my first brisket to cook tomorrow for mothers day. Dinner at 6:00 is the plan so I figure I need to put the brisket on about 4:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. Will try to do pictures if it turns out okay.
