As the weather gurus issue winter storm warnings for Atlanta it is time to reflect. As the stores all have runs on milk, bread and batteries..one wonders why those of us in the southern climes should be subjected to these winter extremes. Yes those of you who choose to live in areas that can reasonably expect to receive these extreme conditions have no one to blame but yourselves. But those of us in the the south have the big question WHY? It is with this quandary my alcohol addled brain has decided to ponder the humanity of it all.
I take you back a mere three to four years ago when the climate experts told us all it was the fault of the meat eating miscreants that were causing global warming. Our penchant for eating beef was causing a buildup of methane in the atmosphere due to huge herds of cattle doing what most of us do time to time namely farting. Well it’s coming back to bite us in the a$$! No pun intended. So with proof positive I can assure you the global warming is no more. I’m sure you are asking Rick how can you be so sure. Work with me here I getting to it.
We all know that the west is experiencing a major drought. This has resulted in a large sell off of cattle herds this year due to loss of grazing land and high cost of corn and other cattle feed. Less cattle less cattle farts. Is it just me who can 2+2? Less cattle=less farts=less methane=less global warming=snow in Atlanta. I rest my case.
So we are right back to the question WHY? Beats the hell out of me!
All I can say is where is a good cow fart when you need one!
PS they are predicting less than 1 inch of snow in Atlanta
